The San Diego Airport Lost and Found Office is located in Terminal Two West and on the lower level. Items found in the airport terminals, curbside areas, parking lots or airport operated shuttles are stored securely for 90 days before disposition.

We do not take custody of items lost on board aircraft, in for hire vehicles such as taxis and door to door shuttles, in public busses or rental cars.

How Are Found Items Claimed and Returned?

The Lost and Found staff will secure all found items and make every effort to research and locate potential owners. You may arrange for the return of items by:

On-site pickup: If you properly identify items, you may pick them up during normal business hours. We require a picture ID at the time of pick up. Representatives of the owners may pick up items with proper identification and verified permission of owners.
 
Federal Express: With a Fed Ex account, the Lost and Found Office can prepare items for shipment Monday - Friday before 3:30 p.m.
